Joelle Schon is a creative and experienced editor especially adept at quickly shaping documentary footage into interesting and engaging films. She thoroughly enjoys the problem-solving aspects of editing. For thirty years, she has been editing documentaries; primarily films covering the world of art, including profiles of well-known artists, architects, poets, choreographers, photographers and musicians. The films have aired on PBS, German television networks, been screened at International festivals and are distributed internationally. They have won numerous awards and a recent film opened the Dance on Film Festival at Lincoln Center. Most recently, she has edited award-winning dramatic shorts, PSAs and video shorts for the Web.
Joelle is experienced editing 16mm film and video using Final Cut Pro, Avid and Premiere.
